Beautiful knife

6th Dawson purchased. Three were gifts. I'd like to say the Steadfast is my favorite - but each serves it's purpose. So it's a three way tie. The Steadfast is super sharp out of the box. The blade is perfect for my woods time and for a chore or two around the house. The Ulti Clip is a nice added touch. Like my other Dawson's it's like it is custom fit to my hand. I'm pretty sure all my future fixed blades will be Dawson.

Not too big and not too small. Perfect, solid weight for a perfect, solid knife. The hamon heat treatment on the blade is beautiful and really brings it out. I got this for my father for Father’s Day and when I received it, I almost kept it for myself because it is such a great knife. As soon as you hold it in your hand you can actually feel the quality of the entire knife. My dad was very thankful and I could tell he really likes it. I’m getting him to switch from folders to a good fixed blade for EDC. Fixed blades really are the way to go with a god quality low profile sheath, which is included. Dawson did an excellent job designing and creating the Contractor especially with the .200” thickness. This knife can take a beating and any like nothing happened. Anyway, I bought one for myself too after I have this one to my father. I just ordered a Companion too, which is a bit smaller than the Contractor. Dawson is definitely my favorite knife maker as I’ve bought 4 Dawson knives in the last week. Keep up the good work guys, and thank you!

I have a couple of Dawson knives including the Steadfast, which is now my EDC. I recently got one for my son and he absolutely loves it, so he is now a part of the Dawson family. Could not be more pleased with the performance of each knife, not to mention how stunning they look.

Great EDC knife. Fantastic quality and design. Fits my hand perfectly. Sheath could be a little more compact for horizontal appendix carry. Everybody that handles it loves it.

The work and craftsmanship speak for themselves but I will go ahead and add that Dawson has top notch customer service as well! I reached out to them with very specific needs, and they actually offered me products that were unavailable on the website at that time in order to accommodate me!

Just found a great EDC knife, The Smuggler. Great size and amazing craftsmanship! The design is awesome , and materials are also noticed as soon as you unpack it from the box. Definitely ordering more. The bigger Marauder is my favorite so far. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great outdoor knife.

Second Dawson knife I own. Have an axe also. Great company. Best knives made on planet earth. Incredibly sharp and very well made! Great designs of the knives! Will buy more in the future.

The balance is exceptional for a really nice chefs knife. The blade geometry and handle design are real conversation starters. As a chaplain, I love they are an unashamed Christian company. As a father, I love they are Family values focused. As a member of the military, I love they are supportive of our nation and troops. These guys truly check all the boxes…Great company, great product.

Lightweight with excellent balance, I'm eager to use it for chopping and clearing brush. The handle is a bit thin but fits my average hand well. I would have preferred slightly less sharp angles around the handle and at the jimping points, and an additional locking mechanism to keep the knife securely in the sheath.
