Dawson Knives

Easily the best knife I have ever owned.

Tried it on some home grilled steaks and the flavor was amazing, really added to the steaks. I will be buying more when this bottle runs empty.

The website pics are too few and too dark; they don't do this blade justice. The Steadfast spine is thick, there is a deep hollow grind and a top swedge that tapers down to a pinpoint POKEY you could thread a needle with this then destroy the eye of the needle. Perfect EDC sub 3" compliant defensive blade you pray you'll never have to use. The sheath is a tank but I don't hate it, super positive retention, really too bulky to carry scout concealed. I prefer carrying upright because I need more real estate for IWB holster, spare mag carrier, flashlight etc. With a couple quick mods I was able to get 3 screws in a DotsUSA mini belt clip for easy belt attachment with 1.5" Kore Essentials belt. Overall I'm super stoked and highly recommend the Steadfast

The Sephraim CP came to me as expected. No blemishes and razor sharp. This knife will be seeing duty as camp knife and I have little doubt it will be fantastic. The handle screws didn’t ship with blue lock tight so check your gear before you put it to use. I’d recommend to a friend. Well done, Dawson Knives!!

Given that I don't often write extended reviews, I wanted to share my superlative recent experience acquiring a Marauder XL in ProCut with the Hamon finish, all of which left me beyond thrilled about an admirable product and the most outstanding customer service I have ever encountered.

Historically, every time I have dealt with "Sera" she has responded promptly, carefully explained supply chain circumstances, creatively crafted realistic solutions, and intuitively anticipated every possible process formulation to exceed expectations. I was overwhelmed by her product/design performance acumen, her attention to details, and her positive attitude while taking complete ownership and going over and above, with extra effort - truly, nothing short of superb.

Structurally, this Marauder XL in Procut is a striking representation of form and function, indeed of a very well balanced lightweight, large knife exemplifying multiple uses. Their proprietary Hamon heat treatment is very well-executed, extending beyond the hollow grind/saber grind center-line, which will obviously sustain heavy use cutting/chopping/stabbing performance over years, yet exist as uniformly proportionate to the softer HRC spine strength, which is unique and appropriate for necessary toughness demands in extended reliability. Advanced ProCut steel technology (especially this heat treat) combined with expert Dawson craftsmanship, and impeccable ergonomics in the finessed scale texturing, impart a balanced comfort and tactical competence for all day task utility while camping, hunting, combat, survival, or self-defense.

Intentional aesthetics include important attention to proper choil/thumb jimping angular dimensions, which look and feel strategically measured to deliver secure and unlimited hand positioning, that are extremely comfortable in a pinch, chop, stab, or slicing attributes. From the nice long swedge to the chisel pommel, this Marauder XL has a "skinner overall profile" for which I can't wait to administer a plethora of advanced tactical techniques and bushcraft approaches for years to come. I’m absolutely in love with this knife! It is honestly the nicest EDC fixed blade I’ve ever carried. The edge is sharpened perfectly. The handle has a great weight and the g10 scales have such a unique yet comfortable feel and look. The kydex sheath is great as well, locks in perfectly with no play whatsoever. But since I’m a leather crafter, the day it came in I had to wet mold a sheath for this bad boy and it came with a utiliclip for me to attach to my leather sheath. I will definitely be buying a larger knife from them soon for camping.

Since the sniper comes to me is not left my hip. I use it daily, especially this Memorial Day weekend. Thank you and I plan to buy an another for the trails.

I can not get enough of this knife… it is everything I hoped… everyone who holds it compliments the handle shape… I just wish I could afford the last blade in the Wes huff series… $1500 is a lot… but this Nehemiah blade is exceptional…
