Knife came in in time, really sharp and well made. It is my first one, but not the last one.
Received my knife the day before vacation. Took a quick look and just smiled. The finish is amazing. Upon return I took time to carefully examine my knife. In addition to a gorgeous finish the balance is amazing, and the blade razor sharp and heavy enough to handle a lifetime of sharpening.Very well made and the sheath is perfect.
What an exceptional piece of American craftsmanship. So proud to own, thank you!
Love the blade. It has a really good weight. It is very sharp. I received the package sooner than I expected.
Loving the knife, haven't used it yet but I'm looking forward to putting it through some torture.
Fit and finish is spot on. No hot spots. I was a bit worried about the thumb ramp, looked aggressive, but it is very comfortable. Looking forward to many more purchases. Great little knife.
Premium work! Absolutely love the Shepard Rainstorm. I thought the blue handles would be a little brighter but thats ok, I understand picture lighting. The carbon fiber sheath is awesome! This is my first hand made knife of this caliber; Im highly impressed and pleased. Its great to support a company like this. God bless! Thanks!

Very well explained. I have just ordered one of your Javalina knives, and was interested in the blade and handle composition. Reading about both, plus the bending-don’t try this at home-makes me even more excited anticipating the delivery of this blade. And, at 69, it’s not easy to get me excited. Mike

I’ve studied on blade steels a little for the last few years, and this article is the best simplified explanation on 3V that I’ve read. I appreciate it.

Great article, the knife I’ve been using for years is a Blackjack Tac Ops4 1095 blade that was triple heated with sct and dct cryogenic treatments. It has been extremely tough, holds a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I am interested in a CPM 3V knife but I’m not sure about its difficulty in sharpening in the field. Your blades look awesome but most are sold out, so please email me when they become available.
Thank you
