Love my new 16” sword! You guys did an absolutely phenomenal job! The heat treat is perfect! Blessed is straight as an arrow! Very balanced and has a really strong back!
I am grateful for my two Dawson knives, the Smuggler and the Son of Jesse. Both are awesome - craftsmanship, materials used, and aesthetics. My one requests is that you would either make leather sheaves or provide links to someone who makes quality sheaves. The Kydex are great but I want something softer to carry in my pocket.
I recently received my new Sheppared XL with the Hamind blade finish. The knife is what I would consider perfect in every way. The blade is very sharp, the handle looks beatiful, it is well balanced and it just the right weight for camping and outdoor use. No doubt that this will be my primary camp knife. I strongly recommend the Sheppard XL.
I now own four Dawson knives and I love every one of them.
Excellent craftmanship with top of the line materials. Truly an heirloom quality tool.
I ordered this specifically for my work duty belt. Perfect dimensions, the sheath is a little bulky for this set up but still works fine. The blade itself is an easy 9/10(always room to strive for perfection), ready to go right out of the box. Took only 2 days after I ordered to show up to my door. Dawson is a company that every American business should strive to be.

Very well explained. I have just ordered one of your Javalina knives, and was interested in the blade and handle composition. Reading about both, plus the bending-don’t try this at home-makes me even more excited anticipating the delivery of this blade. And, at 69, it’s not easy to get me excited. Mike

I’ve studied on blade steels a little for the last few years, and this article is the best simplified explanation on 3V that I’ve read. I appreciate it.

Great article, the knife I’ve been using for years is a Blackjack Tac Ops4 1095 blade that was triple heated with sct and dct cryogenic treatments. It has been extremely tough, holds a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I am interested in a CPM 3V knife but I’m not sure about its difficulty in sharpening in the field. Your blades look awesome but most are sold out, so please email me when they become available.
Thank you
