Whether you're tracking elk through dense pine or prepping some grub at base camp, Woodsman is the knife you want at your side. Purpose-built for wild game harvesting, this classic hunting and field knife is reborn with extreme edge retention and rugged durability.

The Woodsman features a 3 5/8" blade crafted from .140" stock CPM-MagnaCut. High-performance Magnacut offers rugged durability, a keen edge and excellent impact resistance, and is highly resistant to corrosion or staining. Thanks to our own custom heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our USA-made G10 handle stands up to rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hot-spot free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Woodsman also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle-free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Specially designed for compatibility with the included UltiClip 3.3 Slim for secure carry in the backwoods or around the ranch.

The Woodsman

Really lovin my new Dawson Woodsman, a beautifully made high quality knife, that fits in my hand perfectly, and is super sharp and sharp looking as well, I have many Dawson knives, and the Woodsman is my favorite Dawson, just as the rest of the Dawson knives I have are my favorite!
