Dawson Knives

Dotson make some of the most incredible knives I’ve ever owned. I was so fortunate to get one made by their father Barry and that knife is one of those cherished in my collection. I will continually watch their website to see if there’s any new drops because I desperately want one of their collector swords And another knife from Barry if possible. I really appreciate their craftsmanship. And I wish them nothing but the best.

Ordered a Dawson Nomad in the new Pops Procut Steel, with the micarta handle scales, just a couple weeks before my elk hunt. I was hoping the new steel would hold up to the hype, and let me tell you what, it did!! I harvested an elk on day 2 of the hunt, and between my daughter and I, we had 2 other top end knife manufacturers on hand, 3 knives, in 3 different steels including, magnacut and a ball bearing steel, and this Dawson Nomad left them in the dust!! Caped, quartered, and cut up more than 1/2 of the elk with the Nomad before it started showing signs of getting dull, switched to the other knives and wound up going back to the Dawson Nomad to finish because the others weren't cutting it. And yes I sharpened and polished all of the knives to a hair splitting sharpness before going on the hunt. But the Dawson Nomad was by far the sharpest edge I've ever put on a knife. It was also the easiest to re-sharpen in my opinion. This is by far my new favorite knife, hands down!!! Thank you Dawson for making an excellent product!!!

My Provisioner's first task was slicing a brisket. It's edge bevel and finish made for easy slicing. Can't wait to take it hunting!

I was once a strong supporter of Benchmade knives, but in recent years I’ve noticed a decline in their overall quality and craftsmanship. By contrast, I was immediately impressed with the Reaper — its weight and balance feel exceptional in hand, and the blade length is perfectly suited for my everyday carry needs.

This knife is perfect. My work is very physical, I build things out in the wilderness for a living. I wanted something small, with a full tang. The paint can opener/pry bar built into the end of it was the icing on the cake. MagnaCut in my opinion is the best steel currently being produced. These guys nailed the heat treatment. I’ve had knives from cheap to heirloom. This is no lie my favorite of them all. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this knife deserves one.

Couldn't be happier with design fit or function. This is perfect and Dawson is truly outstanding! I also love the fact that the box has a Bible verse on it. God loving american made perfection. First time buyer and now life long customer. Hands down best knive I own.

Another beautiful knife by Dawson. These knives are usable artwork that you’d be proud to pass on to your children. Wicked sharp edge with very comfortable grips.
