Designed with the American working man in mind, the rugged Contractor EDC is built from heavy-duty .210" CPM-MagnaCut steel to stand up to all your toughest jobs and toughest environments. Our beefiest EDC to date, the Contractor features a wider blade and thicker handle than any of our standard EDCs to give you plenty to hold onto in a compact, easy to carry package.  

CPM-Magnacut stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion or staining, and thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our American-made G10 handle shrugs off rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hot-spot free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Contractor also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Specially designed for compatibility with the included UltiClip 3.3 Slim for secure, inside-the-pocket carry on the jobsite or around the ranch.

Perfect EDC Blade

Another beautiful knife by Dawson. These knives are usable artwork that you’d be proud to pass on to your children. Wicked sharp edge with very comfortable grips.

Best EDC Fixed Blade

The blade is thick and yet it cuts like a dream. But I reserve my folder for box cutting and the like most of the time. This knife is simply for SHTF defense. Everything about it exudes thoughtful design and the weight is balanced and heavy enough to leave you with a feeling of no expense sparred. Best part is the low profile sheath. It can sit low in a pocket but I carry x-body scout. For the price it is hard to beat. I will buy another once it comes time to send it off for sharpening.

Contractor Knife

First off this Family is amazing and is Not ashamed of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. If anyone is a Christian like this wonderful family and myself. I Iook forward to meeting all in heaven one day if not sooner. Now to the Contractor Knife. The minute I took it out of the box I knew this was quality in my hands. The scales are so comfortable and beautiful. The blade will split a hair it’s so sharp and with Magnacut steel you Know it half’s a good edge. The Arizona finish is amazing with it keeping the reflection down from the sun. Also the balance is great, making it easy to maneuver in the hand. The sheath is really nice and doesn’t allow the knife to rattle at all. The only thing I think of to make this knife perfect for me is if the handle was just a little longer like the bigger knives. Don’t let this stop you from choosing this wonderful knife it is great and I look forward to purchasing more knives from Dawson knives when I can. When you’re ready

When you’re ready to become a man and start doing something important with your life you’ll take the time to order a Dawson knife. I’ve been a major disappointment to my parents and family over the years but ever since I purchased a Dawson knife I’ve turned that bus around. Not kidding, my wife finds me attractive, my children miraculously respect me and the dog now jumps in the truck on command. The truth is that I love what Dawson stands for. They are all about God and country. They have not lost sight of what is actually important in this life and their integrity is not for sale. My wife and I walked into their office thinking they would have a store front but they still treated us like royalty and spent a great deal of time with us going over different options. I just can’t say enough good about the entire experience not to mention that this knife hasn’t left my side since our marriage.
