I never cease to be amazed at the attention to detail and exquisite workmanship of Dawson's products. The Marauder is my second purchase, the first being a 25" Tokugawa w/ a black wash finish. I will most assuredly purchase more items when they become available. I am awaiting the production of the perfect short sword that I will recognize when it's produced. I my opinion Dawson's products are second to none. Thank you again for a job well done.
I really like my new knife. Shepherd is my third knife from Dawson knives. I also have the Nomad and Marauder knives. All knives are high quality and are very nice. The Shepherd was certainly not my last knife from Dawson knives. 😉
Best regards ... Armin from Germany
I own over 500 blades from various manufacturers from custom to off the production line. This knife has to be the most surprising so far. Let's talk about the blade first. The knife came sharp out of the box but, after a few minutes on the strop I had the blade razor sharp. It's honestly the sharpest knife I have ever held. Just with the weight of the blade and no pressure I am able to slice through a tomato halfway. That's dangerously sharp! Sharper even compared to other magna knives in my collection. The copper color blade finish is really exquisite like an old- fashioned blade that's aged gracefully over time. The quality of the handle is also very surprising with absolutely zero hot spots. The contours fit my fingers perfectly and I would gladly say the knife in my hands is extremely comfortable. It's comparable to a pair of racing gloves you don't notice you are wearing. The seamless balance from hand to blade makes the user feel as though the blade has become an extension of the body. As for the sheath, that's the only downside. My knife did rattle in the sheath and I will always prefer leather to kydex. It was a simple remedy and I just ordered a sheath from another manufacturer since there was no option to purchase leather from Dawson. I will undoubtedly be purchasing more Dawson knives.
Great craftsmanship! Nice balance, great blade!
Loving my first Dawson blade..the Harvester. Perfect for EDC. I don't think this is going to be my last one. Love supporting a God fearing Arizona business on top of it. Keep it up y'all. Thank you
My wife (Kris) and I own Amish home decor (furniture store in PV) we are invited to attend one of our craftsman’s daughters Amish wedding in Indiana 5/2024. My wife bought for the Bride and I thought of a handcrafted Dawson knife made in Prescott would be a perfect gift for the Groom. I’m sure craftsman appreciate craftsman. Thank you for a well made product. I also own your knifes myself.
