This knife is the best looking knife I have ever put my hands on. The knife feels great in the hands. The kydex sheath is a little big but it rides in my pocket just fine. I would recommend everyone to own one of these knives.
We have several of these Dawson knives, and we know that you can't get a better knife anywhere. You can feel the quality right when you pick it up.
Feels good in my hand. No rattle in the sheath. I like that is also includes an UltiClip for in-pocket carry as well as the belt option. It’s not really light but isn’t bad for weight. For in-pocket carry, a taco sheath would have been better. For my use, I wish it had bigger eyelets at the tip of the sheath (like by the handle) so it could be hung on my knife hanger pegs where I keep my EDCs. Overall a very good purchase.

GEN 2 Smuggler | Personal Carry, General Purpose Knife | CPM-MagnaCut Steel | Arizona Copper Finish I’ve just received the Smuggler, and haven’t gotten a chance to use it. My intention is to use it as a small/medium game knife, up to white tail deer. It is the perfect size. The grinds and angles look great, it is very comfortable in the hand. I am really looking forward to using it!
The edge will need some work to get it hair popping sharp, but shouldn’t take long.
I’m not crazy about the sheath for my purpose, and will either make a leather, or wrap it with cordura. I think it’s going to be noisy, but it holds the knife well.
The customer service was awesome, thank you Violet! They helped with a question I had, and made everything so easy!
