The balance is exceptional for a really nice chefs knife. The blade geometry and handle design are real conversation starters. As a chaplain, I love they are an unashamed Christian company. As a father, I love they are Family values focused. As a member of the military, I love they are supportive of our nation and troops. These guys truly check all the boxes…Great company, great product.
The packaging was very useful despite the extra delay in shipping. I think customs declarations are also responsible for the delay.
Lightweight with excellent balance, I'm eager to use it for chopping and clearing brush. The handle is a bit thin but fits my average hand well. I would have preferred slightly less sharp angles around the handle and at the jimping points, and an additional locking mechanism to keep the knife securely in the sheath.
Overall, a great success. One of my favorite knives. Well done, Dawson Knives!
