Couldn’t be more happy with this knife. Fit and finish exceeded my expectations. Will be purchasing more!
The Wilderness knife made from MagnaCut steel is of the highest quality, and has a very sharp blade. It also comes with a very nice GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options. The price is one of the lowest among all of the camping knives offered by Dawson, so it was economical for me. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I am really impressed with the product and with the support team making sure customers are taken care of. I am happy to gift Dawson knives to friends to spread awareness of this great company.
Christian company. Great customer service. Quality control. Incredible blades. Consistent quality. Thanks, Dawson.
Outstanding knife. I’ve been waiting for the Gen 2 Provisioner to come out and I’m so glad I did. Razor sharp, excellent steel, solid grip for carving/deboning which doesn’t slip when things get messy. Curvature of the blade allows for ease of use whether you’re working a large piece of meat or a small deboning project. Not my first Dawson blade and certainly won’t be the last. God bless the Dawson family and the excellent quality of work they put out.
The ergonomics of this blade is spectacular. I am an X butcher and purchased this blade emediatly. I have cut several chickens and beef and its a perfect all in one. Thin long and plenty of flex. To do the job with one knife. Absolutely no blade deflection with the procut steel. DAWSON hits another homerun. Can't wait to take it into the field on a hunt. .

Very well explained. I have just ordered one of your Javalina knives, and was interested in the blade and handle composition. Reading about both, plus the bending-don’t try this at home-makes me even more excited anticipating the delivery of this blade. And, at 69, it’s not easy to get me excited. Mike

I’ve studied on blade steels a little for the last few years, and this article is the best simplified explanation on 3V that I’ve read. I appreciate it.

Great article, the knife I’ve been using for years is a Blackjack Tac Ops4 1095 blade that was triple heated with sct and dct cryogenic treatments. It has been extremely tough, holds a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I am interested in a CPM 3V knife but I’m not sure about its difficulty in sharpening in the field. Your blades look awesome but most are sold out, so please email me when they become available.
Thank you
