Crafted from premium CPM-Magnacut stainless steel in heavy-duty .210" stock, the Shepherd features a 3 7/8" blade that is highly resistant to corrosion or staining. Thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our American-made G10 handle says, "Aw, that's cute" to rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hot-spot free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Shepherd also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle-free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Specially designed for compatibility with the included UltiClip 3.3 Slim for secure carry in the backwoods or around the ranch.

Premium work! Absolutely love the Shepard Rainstorm. I thought the blue handles would be a little brighter but thats ok, I understand picture lighting. The carbon fiber sheath is awesome! This is my first hand made knife of this caliber; Im highly impressed and pleased. Its great to support a company like this. God bless! Thanks!

Very Nice!

This is a great knife. Excellent work and attention to detail. It's not the perfect knife, so unfortunately I am going to have to order more knives until I find the perfect one. I will be ordering from Dawson because if a perfect knife can be made Dawson will be the company that makes it.

Excellent Solid Knife

Not a knife that we would find in a box store

When I unpacked it, held it, it felt like; I guess what a real knife should, perfect, heavy, beyond sharp, handsome.
