The Outcast is the ultimate in lightweight fixed blade carry; a slim, streamlined blade that won't drag you down when weight is at a premium but still offers plenty of point for poking and plenty of edge for slicing. 

CPM-Magnacut stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion or staining, and thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our American-made G10 handle stands up to rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hot-spot free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Outcast also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Specially designed for compatibility with the included UltiClip 3.3 Slim for secure, inside-the-pocket carry on the jobsite or around the ranch.

Dawson outcast

Absolutely love the knife, perfect for everyday carry to backpacking and hunting. I purchased the outback for my son as a gift after buying a smuggler for myself and loving it. He is in law enforcement and plans to carry it as a backup. He was extremely impressed by the quality of the materials and workmanship. I also would like to say that upon my order being placed online I omitted information needed to complete the order and immediately received a call from a Dawson rep who went above and beyond to help me with the order. Fantastic blade, mediocre sheath

The blade is awesome. It did come with a little bit of a bur on it still, but that wasn't and issue to hone off. Quality materials and gorgeous craftsmanship. The sheath on the other hand seems like an afterthought. There is some pretty bad rattle in it, despite what the advertisements say, and the "positive lock" I expect from high quality kydex sheaths really isn't there. The blade just kind of presses into the sheath without much of a "lock" or snap. I do appreciate the inclusion of an Ulti clip though, as it is my preferred method of carrying a fixed blade.

Wow! I have a lot of knives, ive been known to carry my Randall model 28 a lot. I think i just got my new favorite everyday carry. It feels like it was made gor my hand. Excellent knife!!
