The Wilderness is the pot of gold at the end of a steely rainbow - a do-it-all field and hunting knife often dreamed of but not often brought to life. Inspired by the legendary Greenriver hunting/skinning blade pattern, with a fine point for piercing and plenty of belly for peeling back hide. Crafted from .140" CPM-MagnaCut steel, it's tough, razor sharp, yet easy to carry when weight is at a premium.

WHO WE ARE

Our family understands "the grind" of the American blue collar worker in a big way - we spent the first 40 years at Dawson Knives working late nights and early mornings, 60-80 hours a week, then loading our knives into an old beater of a car and driving cross-country to that weekend's trade show, often with just enough gas to get us there and no money in our pocket to cover a night's lodging or even a meal upon arrival.

Gen 2 Smuggler

This knife was a birthday gift for my boyfriend. This is his first Dawson knife and his feedback is that he is beyond impressed with the beauty and utility of the knife and especially loves the way it feels in his hand. It's a Norinco Trench gun apologies for the communist heresy. Comparing this to what I know a Fairbairn-Sykes this thing is slick!
