The kydex sheath is my only complaint. Bulky, not a crisp/clean insertion but good retention. Needs to be minimalized with less material and a better grip produced for draw/pull so hand placement doesn't need to be adjusted for proper hold.

As for the knife itself. It's perfect. Flawless. Sharp. Finish is beautiful. Grips are comfortable and hand forms to it. Love the knife.

Bought a Reaper. First knife from Dawson. Bought it based on tons of research about American handmade knives. Very pleased with fit and finish. Just started buying knives again after stopping collecting over 10 years ago. I ordered a Smuggler before my Reaper arrived. It is scheduled to arrive on Monday. There was a delay in shipping for my Smuggler due to some supply issue, but Sera at Dawson personally called me and offered a viable solution since I needed this item for a gift. She expedited the turnaround time so I could get this item sooner than waiting for the handle material to arrive at Dawson in the color I ordered. How many companies nowadays care enough to have someone call you to help with an issue like this!!

Upon picking this model up, it feels natural.
" The Wayfinder ' " Wildfire", mated to the Topographic G-10 Camo scales, wow, qthese really fit both of my hands perfectly in forward grip, back grip, reverse grip, its definitively engineered for extended rough use service, while still maintaining a lightness, and balance in your hands that you literally start yearning for as soon as you re-sheath, " The Wayfinder ".

I was very impressed with my first knife from these guys so I ordered another one. Not just the looks. But the quality feel to the knife and the balance.
