- See our first-ever Steel Sharpens Steel Cutting Competition! Dennis and John Roy go head-to-head in Dawson Knives' very own timed cut-test course! Who do you think will win?
- Get your hands dirty in our Make Your Own Throwing Knife workshop. Learn the basics of designing and balancing a throwing knife from the pros at Dawson Knives, then have a go at grinding a simple blade to take home! Space is limited.
- See all our new 2019/2020 models! Plus one-of-a-kind pieces, Damascus, swords, bowies, our new Spectre and Satin finishes and more! Don't miss this awesome opportunity to see all the cool stuff we've been working on.
- Bring your appetite! Chow down on a delicious lunch from 12:30-1:30pm.

Location: Private residence, directions will be provided
- Join the Dawson Knives crew OFFSITE for our Knife Throw and Barbecue! We'll spend the day just hanging out, eating steaks off the grill, soaking up the Arizona sun or relaxing in the AC at a beautiful private home.
- Travis Wuertz, two-time Forged In Fire winner and world renowned knifemaker, will give everyone a quick tutorial and demo on knife throwing technique in the backyard, then it's your turn to hit the mark. Try out the throwing knives you made in our workshop on Friday, or use some of ours!
- Talk knives. (Or bowies, or swords.) Bring your favorite blades to show off, pass around and admire with fellow collectors in a casual, relaxed setting. Shoot the bull with Dennis, John Roy and the rest of the Dawson gang!
- Eat, drink and be merry. Dennis, aka The Grillmaster, will be grilling up steaks with all the fixin's during our awesome backyard barbecue. Get ready to eat hearty!

Who do you think will win? Pick the winning competitor and YOU may be the lucky winner of a beautiful Dawson knife!
Here's how it works:
1. Pick your competitor. (John Roy or Dennis)
2. Purchase raffle tickets for your competitor. (John Roy or Dennis)
3. Your raffle tickets go into the pot of your chosen competitor.
4. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn from the pot of the competitor that scores the highest in the Cutting Competition at the Dawson Knives Open House on July 26th.
5. The owner of the winning raffle ticket will take home a brand NEW 2019 Dawson knife! You DO NOT need to be present to win.

Bring your favorite blades to show off, pass around and admire with fellow collectors in a casual, relaxed setting. Try your hand at knife-throwing against our home made target. Shoot the bull with Dennis, John Roy and the rest of the Dawson gang over sizzling steaks hot off the grill!
