Product Description
The Ranger is another of Barry's highly versatile combat, field and tactical knives and is also one of Barry's original and most popular "field and fighting" designs. It is also very useful around the campsite for quartering game, splitting firewood, and other heavy chores.
The 101 is made from heavy duty 1/4” steel in your choice of high carbon, non stainless steel (shown), 440C or ATS-34. The Ranger has a 5” blade with top bevel and is 10" overall. The blade is available finished in either Barry's black Midnight or non-glare finish. It also sports double thumb rests behind the integral guards for positive and safe handling.
The Ranger is available in Black or Desert Tan Canvas Micarta handle which has been sandblasted. This greatly improves the gripping power of the handle, clinging to your hand even when wet or slippery. Micarta is highly shatter proof and also very resistant to sand, mud, water and grime.
The custom fitted black Kydex belt sheath also features Barry’s exclusive “quick tab” belt loop, specially designed for sheath removal from your belt without first removing the belt. This superb tactical set can be worn vertically or horizontally on your belt or backpack, with handy holes for tie down or lashing down.
