The 9 1/2" blade is made from heavy-duty full sized 1/4" 5160 steel with Barry's classic Antique finish. This brand new Bowie design from Barry has a precise hollow grind, and a handy thumb rest for safety and handling. Barry has also added his intricate climbing vine file work to the spine of the blade.
The handle is expertly shaped to fit perfectly into the curves of your hand, becoming a seamless extension of your arm. Barry has taken a simple piece of wood and discovered beauty within. He has given light to what otherwise would be lost to us. The wood is golden brown Arizona Ironwood with Barry's handmade Mosaic Pins fastening the scales securely to the strong full tang. This Dawson beauty comes in a custom fitted stitched dark brown leather sheath with holster stud. Designed to be worn "western style" tucked inside your belt, riding comfortably and securely out of the way on your horse or ATV. Approximately 15 3/4" overall length.
