Lynn's Damascus "Elegance" set demands attention wherever it goes. This beautiful and unique carving set should only be brought out when you wish to truly impress.
Two incredible pieces, both were born from the same piece of forged steel and were fitted from the same exquisite piece of Desert Ironwood. The Damascus is around 1/16" of an inch thick, made to slice through anything unfortunate enough to be put in its way. This serious work of art and craftsmanship boasts an approximately 7 1/4" blade on the carving knife, 7 3/4" on the fork. Traditional American quality from an American craftsman! The blade is painstakingly shaped from high contrast Damascus using 5160, 15n20, 52100 and nickel. Lynn's own custom heat-treat creates a tough, resilient blade that holds its edge long after others have failed.
The utilitarian elegance of the hand guard offers maximum protection. Lynn has used a beautiful brushed finish on the German Silver dovetailed bolsters, which are seamlessly fitted to the rich Ironwood scales. Lynn's handmade Mosaic Pins adorn the perfectly shaped handles, the perfect finishing touch to this stunning set.
Overall length on the carving knife is 12", the fork is also 12". This set is a treasure to hold and possess, no other man will have another like it.
