Dawson Kashira Knife

Patterned after the short tantos the Japanese Samurai traditionally carried as a companion blade to their Katanas, Barry’s model 103 Kashira is designed to serve you well not only as a compact and versatile fighter but as an all around field knife as well.
It is made from either 440C steel OR high carbon non-stainless steel and has an overall length of 8 1/2". The blade is 4 ½" long, the handle is 4". It sports a thumb rest for positive and safe handling of the knife.
This Kashira’s handle is overlaid with the Japanese interlocking wrap with black ray skin below. Barry has saturated this wrap with resin, making it virtually impervious to the elements. This combination is wonderful in both form and function, making the knife easier to hold onto in slippery situations.
The Kashira also comes with an attractive and highly versatile Kydex sheath, designed to be worn either horizontally or vertically.
