The GP5 has proven to be very popular with Search & Rescue, EMS and other rescue personnel, since it is compact and easy to carry, yet up to the toughest jobs.
It is made from 5/32” OR 3/16” 440C steel and has an overall length of 9 3/4”. The blade is 5” and has been sharpened along the back about 1” from the tip. The GP5 also sports a thumb rest and finger groove for sure handling in tight spots.
The GP5 is available with your choice of either Desert Tan or Black Micarta, or Black Paracord handle.
The GP5 also comes with a highly versatile black Kydex sheath, outfitted with Barry’s exclusive “quick tab” release for belt carry and rigging holes for slinging it on a backpack.
