The Golden Minx has an elegant 25" blade is made from heavy-duty 1/4" high contrast Damascus steel, forged right here in the good old US of A from a blend of 5160, 15N20, 52100 and Nickel. The backbone of Barry's reputation for quality blades lies in his own custom heat treat, developed over a 35+ year knife and sword making career of producing tough, battle ready blades that stand up to daily use and hold a superior edge cut after cut.
This traditional, narrow tang 001 Tanto boasts an elegant 10" blade made from 1/4" high contrast Damascus. The elegant, American-made steel is forged from a blend of 5160, 15N20, 52100 and Nickel. The beautiful Ironwood handle is a luminous golden brown, overlaid with Barry's signature black Interlocking Japanese Wrap and 24 karat gold plated dragon Menuki.
The traditional fittings really put this beauty in a class by itself. The Tsuba is hand-shaped antiqued German silver with a brass Habaki, the Fuchi and Kashira are cast bronze with 24 caret gold-plated dragons snaking around their diameter.
