Dawson Folding Guthook Knife

The clean, classic droppoint blade on the Folding Guthook is ideal for quick and easy field skinning while the handy folding guthook makes dressing your prize buck a breeze. The blade is 3/16" steel, available in your choice of ATS-34 or 440C. Barry's special custom heat treat provides an extremely hard edge which allows a deer or two to be dressed without sharpening. It also provides a rugged and resilient blade which provides the user with a significant survivability factor in extreme circumstances. The blade has been hollow ground with a super tough shaving edge. A practical companion for the no nonsense woodsman and hunter. The blade length measures in at approximately 4”, with a 4 7/8” handle. The folding gut hook protrudes 1 1/2" from the pommel of the knife when unfolded and is completely concealed within the handle when not in use. Thumb and finger notches which have been filed into the spine and under the guard, provide a safe sure grip. This drop point model is a superior skinner, a must have for your next hunting trip or for the sportsman in your life.

The Folding Guthook comes in a handmade stitched dark brown Leather sheath, which has been form fitted to ensure protection of the knife and its wearer.
