The no-nonsense blade is tempered with Barry's custom heat treat to produce a tough, shock resistant blade with a superior edge holding capability. This heat treat has been painstakingly developed over the lifetime of Barry's long career and is celebrated the world over for producing tough, battle ready blades.
The slightly curved Ivory Micarta handle seems to wrap protectively around the hand and is overlaid in two sections with Barry's Japanese Interlocking Wrap for comfort and extra gripping power.
The Asian Fighting Sword comes in a custom fitted stitched leather sheath in a rich dark brown, designed to be worn tucked securely into the belt.
