Sleek and razor sharp the Elven Sword is shown here with a 12" blade and 6 1/2" of sharpened back edge, tempered in Barry's custom heat treat to produce a tough, shock resistant blade with a superior edge holding capability. This heat treat has been painstakingly developed over the lifetime of Barry's long career and is celebrated the world over for producing true, battle ready blades.
This style is also very popular with Asian and Brazilian sword fighting styles due to its dramatic blade shape and deep belly. The slightly curved handle seems to wrap protectively around the hand and is available in your choice of materials including Micarta or stabilized wood and is overlaid in two sections with Barry's Japanese Interlocking Wrap for comfort and extra gripping power. The Elven Sword comes in a custom fitted stitched leather sheath in a rich brown or black, and designed to be worn tucked securely into the belt.
