Easily wielded with one or two hands the "Windstorm" can take your breath away and possibly a few body parts as well. Honed to a fine razor edge, you wouldn't want to rub this beauty the wrong way. The elegant Curly Maple handle is a rich strawberry blond color, polished and shaped to fit perfectly into the hand and fastened with handmade Mosaic Pins. This beautiful wood is then overlaid with Barry's signature Japanese interlocking wrap for comfort and extra gripping power.
Sleek and razor sharp, this Scimitar features an approximately 15 ½" blade, with the Dawson's classic Midnight finish and high-contrast hardline. This brand new design is shaped from 1/4" high carbon 5160 steel. The famous Dawson heat-treat produces a tough, shock resistant blade with superior edge-holding capability. The top edge of the sword has a zero edge.
Barry's new Scimitar comes in a custom fitted black leather sheath, designed to be tucked securely into your belt courtesy of the holster stud. The overall length for this sword is approximately 25 3/8".
