The handle is expertly shaped to fit perfectly into the curves of your hand, becoming a seamless extension of your arm. The wood is dark chocolate brown Maple, with Barry's handmade "bear paw" Mosaic Pins fastening the scales securely to the strong full tang.
The 9" blade is made from heavy-duty full sized 1/4" 5160 steel with Barry's classic Antique finish and a striking high contrast hard line. This Bowie has a precise hollow grind, a sleek top bevel for added balance and control, and handy thumb rests for safety and handling. Barry has also added his intricate climbing vine file work to the spine of the blade.
