This beauty has been custom heat treated by Barry with his own process known the world over for the tough, shock resistant blades and superior edges it produces.
Barry's Dark Knight Tanto has a compact and elegant 10 1/4" blade made from ¼" 5160 high carbon steel. The high contrast hard-line is the perfect authentic touch from a modern master. The sleek top bevel and thumb rests greatly enhance the balance and control of this piece. American quality from an American craftsman!
The handle is polished Cocobolo, overlaid with Barry's Interlocking Wrap.
The pattern of the Cocobolo is beautiful and unique, a dark cherry brown. Barry's handmade Mosaic Pins add the perfect touch.
The twists and knots on this wrap are the results of many years of experience that only a few in the entire world have managed to master. Very comfortable and highly slip resistant!
Barry's Dark Knight Tanto comes complete with a custom fitted, black leather sheath with holster stud, designed to be tucked into an obi or a western style belt. The overall length of this piece is approximately 16 1/4".
