Sleek and razor sharp, this beauty is an original creation in high contrast Damascus steel. The no-nonsense 11” blade is made from American forged 3/16” high contrast Damascus steel and tempered with Barry's custom heat treat. This produces a tough, shock resistant blade with a superior edge holding capability. This heat treat has been painstakingly developed over the lifetime of Barry's 35+ years knifemaking career and is celebrated the world over for producing tough, battle ready blades. The notched, blackened-and-brushed-steel oval guard is ergonomically designed for optimum blade control, hand protection and carry ease.
The Ironwood handle is unique and understated, a warm golden brown. It is overlaid with Barry's Japanese Interlocking Wrap and silver dragon Menuki for comfort and extra gripping power.
This custom Tanto comes in a custom fitted and stitched black leather sheath, designed to be worn hanging from a belt or tucked into a traditional obi. Overall length is approximately 16 3/8”.
