The Explorer is made with heavy duty 5160 carbon steel, and made to take a beating. Dennis employs his differential heat treat on this 5160 carbon steel blade, making an extremely solid and durable knife.
Perfectly balanced and ground with a slightly thicker tip for tough jobs, the Explorer is an integral part of any serious users gear. Blade length is 5 1/2", overall length is 10 3/4".
The handle is incredibly durable tan Canvas Micarta. Dennis has textured the surface of the Micarta to provide a solid nonslip gripping surface. This knife comes complete with custom fitted black Kydex pocket sheath for upright carry on the belt.
