Dawson California Dagger Knife
Product Description
This dagger is based on a design that was first made by a California knife maker around 1870, whose name has been sadly lost in antiquity.
It is made from 440C steel and has an overall length of 9 1/2”. The blade is 5” long, the handle is 4 1/2”. It sports twin thumb rests behind each guard for positive and safe handling of the knife, as well as Barry's beautiful and intricate climbing vine filework.
This knife can be satin finished or given a gray, non-glare finish and is available with solid, hollow or Mosaic handle pins. (Note: There is an extra charge for Mosaic handle Pins, and they are not available with a non-glare finish.)
The California Dagger’s handle is available in your choice of Desert Tan or Black Canvas Micarta or stabilized Wood.
The model 109 also comes with a stitched oak tanned leather sheath, designed for traditional belt carry, OR a Black Kydex belt sheath.
