Sleek and razor sharp, Barry's Asian tanto features a 12" blade with 6 1/2" of sharpened back edge. The no-nonsense blade is made from American forged ¼” high contrast Damascus steel and tempered with Barry's custom heat treat. This produces a tough, shock resistant blade with a superior edge holding capability. This heat treat has been painstakingly developed over the lifetime of Barry's long career and is celebrated the world over for producing tough, battle ready blades.
The slightly curved Arizona Ironwood handle seems to wrap protectively around the hand and is overlaid in two sections with Barry's Japanese Interlocking Wrap for comfort and extra gripping power.
This custom Asian fighting tanto comes in a custom fitted and stitched black leather sheath, designed to be tucked securely inside the belt.
